Yes From A Security Guard To A Chairman

According to Mazibuko, the number of the destitute and the orphans was increasing due to high rate of unemployment and the economic shocks due to the pandemic. However, sponsors such as retail stores came to the rescue, also forgetting the Gauteng Department Of Social Development which always pulled through for and assisted in the registration of the NPO. More than 350 beneficiaries are fed rice, bread, soup, samp and vegetables three times a week and that includes Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays .Sometimes we feed on Sundays depending on how much food we have at our disposals. As part of child protection week, Mazibuko said they have long started the awareness within the community.” We have after school programs where we assist children with their home works, offer counseling, donate blankets, clothes, food parcels, do home visits, do GBV awareness programs, and we also assist with stationery. Although we have challenges such as transport” he alluded.
